Welcome to King's Court Lodge, Gillingham

A very warm welcome to King's Court Lodge, the most friendly and relaxed Lodge in the Province of Dorset. We are famous for our warm and fraternal welcome and everyone who either visits or joins will enjoy their time with us rest assured!

We have members from all walks of life so you will always find someone to chat with and be social with.

The Lodge name is taken from King John who, it is known, stayed and hunted in Gillingham Forest. A petition to issue a warrant was presented to the Grand Lodge, with the subsequent Warrant being granted on 9th December 1897. The Lodge was consecrated on 2nd June 1898 with a ceremony held in the Drill Hall, Gillingham.

The Lodge is based at:

Gillingham Masonic Hall

Car Parking: The nearest car park is just across the road where the store manager has very kindly agreed to let us use his car parking facilities.

We are genuinely renowned as the most relaxed & friendliest of lodges and we warmly welcome anyone interested in finding out more about Freemasonry and visiting Brethren from other lodges.
