Welcome to Dunckerley Lodge of Dorset Freemasons
Are you interested in Freemasonry and live close to Poole in Dorset? Or, already a Freemason, thinking about joining or visiting a Lodge in Poole - then why not consider us, Dunckerley Lodge?
Dunckerley Lodge has just celebrated its first hundred years and is looking forward to the next 100 with excitement! We are 'Proud of our Past but looking to the future!
The Lodge is a genuinely diverse bunch of men, aged between their twenties and more mature, united by a common enjoyment of being a member of this fine Masonic Lodge. We come from a wide range of backgrounds; HGV Drivers, Company Directors, Professional Entertainers, Hospitality Industry workers, Civil Servants and retired members enjoy each others company, united by our values of Integrity, Kindness, Honesty, Fairness and Tolerance.
We meet once every month, on the third Monday evening at 6.15pm. Meetings are generally followed by a meal which is great value at £16 for three courses. We usually finish just before 10pm but there is an opportunity to stay on for a nightcap before heading home if you like.
The Lodge strikes a sensible balance on social activities; we are very aware of demands on time (and wallet) in the busy 21st Century lives of so many people... so our social events try to cater for all tastes and budgets, From the 'Big Boys Breakfasts' to Christmas Meals, through trips to other Provinces and a Battlefield Trip to Ypres we think there is something here for everyone.
The cost of being a member of Dunckerley is fairly typical for a Dorset Lodge; subscriptions for 2020/2021 work out under £4 per week.
If you are not yet a Mason and interested in finding out more then please contact us for a chat. If you are already a Freemason and are thinking of joining a Poole Lodge you are very welcome to visit us to see how we fit!
